Photographer Philippe Halsman created his Jumpology portrait series of some of the world’s most famous faces, in the belief that when his subject jumped, they stopped posing and the mask slipped; “Every face I see seems to hide – and sometimes fleetingly to reveal – the mystery of another human being. Capturing this revelation became the goal and passion of my life.”

My BUMPOLOGY series has the same goal, to take the most common experience of all humankind and truly see it, for the first time.
